Our Story
El Gringo's Rentals Tamarindo is a short and long-term motorcycle rental company in Tamarindo, Costa Rica. We rent bikes from 48 hours minimum, up to a few weeks or even a few months. Our service is for anyone with a motorcycle license interested in traveling by motorbike in the Guanacaste area.
El Gringo's Rentals is owned and operated by 2 Canadians who have traveled extensively through Central America since 2011, including 6 years in Nicaragua. We now have planted roots in Tamarindo, where we enjoy a quiet but exciting life by the beach. And we love helping others discover all the beauty that Costa Rica has to offer.
Meet the Team
Chris Madden
Chris was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada and has been riding motorcycles for over 20 years. His passions are riding bikes on the less beaten paths, surfing, working out, and boxing. Chris loves to meet new people, so if you have any questions about the area, he will be happy to chat your ears off!
Guylaine Madden
Guylaine is a French Canadian from Val d'Or, Quebec. She lived many years in Montreal before moving to Vancouver, British Columbia, where she worked as a Realtor and a Personal Fitness Trainer. She discovered both riding motorcycles and surfing through her meeting with Chris during a trip to Puerto Escondido, Mexico, in 2003.
